In conjunction with Anna Halprin: Body Radical, join Halprin and special guests for a discussion around the publication Making Dances that Matter, forthcoming from Wesleyan Press in 2019. This book traces Halprin's philosophies on using dance as a powerful expressive tool for healing, learning, and mobilizing change. It included accounts of two dances, Planetary Dance and Circle the Earth: Dancing with Life on the Line, as well as step-by-step processes for bringing people together to enact them. Advance copies of the book will be available for purchase.Ticket Information
