Join us for the return of Friday Nights at the de Young! This special Fall season runs for nine Fridays from September 28-November 23. All Friday nights will feature reduced admission to the special exhibition Contemporary Muslim Fashions, and free admission to the main-level galleries. Advance tickets to the exhibition are recommended and can be purchased below.

On Friday, October 26, we're excited to host the cool and hilarious podcast #GoodMuslimBadMuslim for a live recording. Comedian Zahra Noorbakhsh and writer / activist Tanzila "Taz" Ahmed bring their satirical talents to the de Young as they discuss the good and the bad of the American Muslim female experience. #GoodMuslimBadMuslim has been celebrated on Oprah MagazineWired, Mother Jones, and more. This will be a live taping, so please arrive at the Piazzoni Murals Room before 7 pm, and plan to remain seated for 45-60 minutes. This event is free, but seating will be limited to first-come, first-served.
